What we collect
- Account and checkout: name, email, billing and delivery addresses, phone if you give one, order contents.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Site: pages you view, basket contents, and technical data (IP address, browser) needed to run the site and stop fraud.
- Email: messages you send us, and any marketing you have opted into. We do not buy mailing lists.
Why we use it
- To take, pack, dispatch and support your order (contract).
- To keep accounts and tax records (legal obligation).
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse (legitimate interests).
- To email you about an order you placed (contract). Marketing email only if you asked for it (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — payments.
- Our hosting and Cloudflare — to serve the site and protect it.
- Couriers / Royal Mail — name, address and a discreet reference, so the parcel can be delivered.
- Suppliers — only what they need if they dispatch on our behalf.
- HMRC or the police — if the law requires it.
We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for at least six years for tax. Account data stays until you ask us to close the account, then we keep only what the law still requires. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion (where we do not have to keep it), or a restriction. You can object to legitimate-interests processing. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
